OFFICIAL: THAILAND ORPHANAGE BUILD 2018
We are currently recruiting volunteers for our Thailand Orphanage Build in the summer of 2018. The Caminul Felix Thailand village provides families for abandoned, orphaned and rejected children, with priority given to children that have lost their parents to HIV / Aids. Ten families currently live in the village, housing over 70 children.
A team of AECOM volunteers from around the world to the Caminul Felix Orphanage in Surat Thani, Thailand. We will spending our 1.5 weeks beginning construction on a bakery. This bakery will provide the orphanage with a means to bake their own goods, as well as a means of income, selling additional baked goods to local shops in the city.
The Bakery is estimated to cost $50,000 to construct and necessary equipment. We will be holding fundraisers over the next year to raise funds for this event. If you would like to donate toward this cause, please use our PayPal site. All donations are tax deductible. paypal.me/BuildingHumanity
If you are interested in participating in the event, participant cost is $1600 USD per person. This includes all accommodation, transportation, meals, Bangkok tours, round-trip fights between Bangkok & Surat Thani, & tools/materials for all construction work while at Caminul Felix. Flights to Bangkok from your native country, alcoholic beverages, souvenirs and any other travel/activities outside group activities are not included. A $250 USD deposit will be required to hold your spot upon registration.
